SAFETY & BEHAVIOR: Coppermine is committed to making our camp environment safe and fun for everyone. Please email with any changes or questions (including adjusting camp weeks, adding camp weeks, adding AM or PM care) as we do not take changes over the phone. REMINDER: All credit cards on file will be charged on May 1st and all camp balances are due at that time. If your child takes medication during the day, please make sure you have proper documentation from your physician and that all medication is in its original packaging. We are taking all measures to keep all children and staff healthy and well at camp. HEALTH CHECK: Please no sick children or campers getting over colds. We ask that all campers do their best to keep their hands to themselves. Please reinforce with your camper that we do not touch other children for any reason. We have lots of fun activities planned and want to make sure every child has the best experience while staying safe in a positive and welcoming environment. TEAMWORK: If for any reason children are having difficulty behaving, following directions, or staying safe, parents will be called to pick up their child.

We are not a peanut free facility – so peanut butter and jelly is OK. Please also pack an afternoon snack for your camper. LUNCH! Please make sure your child brings their lunch in an insulated lunch bag each day with an ice or freeze pack. For our younger campers we do encourage a separate change of clothes just in case they are needed! Please no brand-new shoes! Children have lots of fun activities outside so shoes that can get a little dirty or wet are best! We prefer easy to slip on and off Keen sandals, water shoes or sandals. SPLISH SPLASH: Please make sure your child has a swimsuit and towel for pool or water activities each day! We encourage campers to come IN their suits and bring a change of clothes. Please apply sunscreen each morning and we will reapply in the afternoons. (Included in the Parent Packet for registered campers) It is OK to drop off multiple children at the same time! Please PRINT the camper carpool tag and display in your windshield. Regular Kaleidoscope camp hours are 9:30am – 3:30pm. Early care begins at 7:30am and late stay is until 5:30pm. LET’S HAVE SOME FUN! Campers will participate in Nature and STEM activities, Science, Art, Gymnastics and Obstacle Courses, Rock Climbing and Archery, Swimming and Water Games, Wilderness, Sports, Gaga, Playground time, Scavenger Hunts and Hikes, Improv and Team Building!
